Oloyede was picked as the Splash FM Hero of the month in April premised on his impressive professionalism punctuated with smiles whilst refusing to accept bribes that will compromise his work.
In a video documentary done by Ayo Adams, the officer said he sees himself as a servant to the people. Oloyede is popular in Ibadan where he directs traffic along custom-secretariat road in the city. A resident, Abdulmumin Adebiyi, said the man corrects motorists who flout traffic regulations in a calm but professional manner.
Ayo shared the documentary on Twitter along this caption; “From being the Splash FM Hero of the Month to an honorary award from the Rotary Club, Ibadan— Traffic Warden Oladele Temitope remain committed to his job and service to humanity. Here is a look at the man who controls traffic along Custom-Secretariat road.”
