Since the death of Nigerian televangelist, TB Joshua on June 5, many interesting facts about his has dropped.
One of such facts is that about two million people from all over the world, including prominent people visit his church annually.
This fact was made known by the African Facts Zone on Twitter and the tweet they made reads;
“TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations once attracted 6 out of every 10 travellers coming into Nigeria.
This was talked about in Zimbabwe’s Parliament, while discussing the Economic Potentials of Religious Tourism.
2 million tourists visit the church annually.”
The post got some reactions from social media users and some of these reactions are;
@alphaLiquidsoap – Prophet TB Joshua was indeed a man after God’s heart
He fed the widows & Orphans
He trained people’s children in school
He helped people acquire skills
He gave money to help people start their dream business
He gave thousands Jobs
He never supported any evil Govt
Rest in Power
@percyhilson09 – That was a cult.. Anyway he did his PR and marketing well.. He was killed stupid RSAns collapsing a business on them.. If there is hell I’m sure he will meet them there..
@mongezisomaza – And scores of gullible South Africans died there. No repercussions whatsoever but he is called to answer now.
@SneKhumaloSA – He was an evil charlatan who caused a lot of people to die and scammed them their money.. I dont believe in hell but if it exists, I know that nikka is there
@Gamuroger – Pyramid schemes masquareding as churches attrack millions of unsuspecting black people. Mental slavery is the worst form of oppression
@chibby_kay – 6 out of 10??
He’s very big in Ghana. Then, a couple told me they can’t wait to attend service in Lagos one day at SCOAN. He seems to be more popular among other Africans.
@PatrickMarire – His work will be charitable for the Genaretion to come. Hope all the pastors through his mentorship will continue to move forward and running the church perfectly
@DrObettacc – Prophet TB JOSHUA will be severely missed.
Continue to rest in Peace Sir
@DThomas27855520 – The most ridiculous, unproductive & exploitative activity there is
One of the activities responsible for Africa’s sluggish approach towards economic development
They invest their hopes in the abstract
