Zozi Tunzi’s Wikipedia Name Leaves Mzansi In Stitches

South Africans treated former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi to a good laugh this week when someone went into Wikipedia and changed her name by misspelling it as well as the names of those who won the pageant before her.

Zozi Tunzi recently passed on her crown to current Miss Universe Andrea Meza from Mexico but her record as the longest reigning Miss Universe will forever remain.

But this week, someone got the present of mind to update the list of present and past winners of the pageant but completely bottled Zozi’s name which left many South Africans in stitches.

It might be that it was a phonological mistake because many don’t see it to be intentional. The person spelt Zozi name as “George Beanie” and even made matters worse by bottling her surname as well by spelling it “Tunji” instead of “Tunzi”.

One of Zozi’s fans saw the messy Wikipedia entry and took to Twitter to alert her.

“LOL! Who did this? Show yourself,” Zozi commented on the tweet with crying laughing emojis.

But the person didn’t even end there, he went on to mispell the name of the past winners of the competition in order to make Zozi feel so bad. He even used the wrong country flags for the past beauty queens.

This has led many to come to a realization that Wikipedia does not provide credible information about certain things. Zozi has a fan who took the pain to edit the information on the list to thank.
