The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo has revealed that the test for the deadly Coronavirus has been made free for all Ghanaians.

In an address to the Nation tonight, the President disclosed that if anyone wishes to test for COVID-19, it has been made free for all Ghanaians and public health workers.
He also said that the second wave of the deadly virus is very dangerous as compared to the previous one in 2020 and therefore, Ghanaians are to adhere to all the protocols adopted by the government.
However, he revealed that all funerals, parties, conferences, cinemas, and other ceremonies have been banned until further notice in order to curb the spread of the virus.
Meanwhile, the number of active cases recorded in the country has increased by 1,544, making it a total of 65, 457 with 804 recoveries and 15 deaths.
