Young Ghanaian musician, Kweku Flick has indicated that he is expecting to walk home with some awards at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA).
He spoke about this when he spoke to GhGossip’s Kofi Cephas in a recent exclusive interview and according to him, he is expecting some awards. This comes after he missed out on winning an award at the recently held 3Music awards.
The young musician will be hoping to win the Hip-Hop Song of the Year and the Best New Artiste of the Year.
Answering a question of how he will feel if he misses out on any of the awards, he stated that he wouldn’t be the first person to receive no award after bagging some nominations, however, he was very positive about winning an award.
In the same interview, he indicated that he wants to go beyond Sarkodie’s level.
According to him, as a young artiste that he wants to make it through music, he has to set some standards for himself and that includes surpassing Sarkodie.
He made this known as he answered a question about whether he can dethrone Sarkodie since he has been the king of Ghana rap for a long time.
