Nigeria Loses Over N132.8bn After 61 Days Of Twitter Ban

It has been estimated that Nigeria has lost N132.8bn (approximately $366,88m) after its Federal Government placed a ban on operations on Twitter.

The social media giant was banned by the Federal Government on June 4 and the ban took effect on June 5. The ban came after Twitter took down a tweet from the President of Nigeria, Buhari who made reference to civil war which goes contrary to the regulations of the platform.
