Popular Nigerian actress and producer, Mercy Johnson is seeking answers as she reacts to some rising issues in the country currently.
As you may know a proposed name for to be adopted as replacement for Nigeria which is ‘United African Republic, (UAR), has sparked conversation on social media as whilst support the change of name, some have vehemently opposed it citing reasons as needless and unfounded.
According to Pulse, Adeleye Jokotoye, a tax consultant, submitted the proposal to the committee at the southwest zonal public hearing in Lagos on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
Also, Twitter operations in Nigeria has been suspended by the federal government after Twitter deleted an insensitive tweet by President Muhammadu Buhari in his address on the platform.
