According to him, the first thing people presume when they are being sighted is “fools” and that sounds very disheartening since they only aim is to entertain and not to be insulted.
He said that comedians lack the necessary respect needed to be accorded them just because of the nature of their job as entertainers.
He further stated that it is very understandable that people always want to show them, love, by calling them names but they require a little bt it of respect when fans are doing so because they are not fools, they just do comedy.
Taking to his Twitter, Lawyer Nti wrote; Naturally people see comedians & their first thought is “fool” and as such treat us with “fooling amount of respect”. Some want you to start fooling with them right there aa mpo. We understand it’s all love but sometimes “respect” a bit more. We are not fools; we just do comedy!
